Rebranding for Steakholder Foods
(formerly Meatech), a company in the field of cultured meat that aims to change the conventional way of consuming meat and make it sustainable through 3D bio-printing technology and advanced biology. In end-2022, the company changed its name and rebranded.
As the brand designer and part of the company's marketing team, I was responsible for the re-branding design aspects from beginning to end. This process contained definitions of strategic core elements and identifying the target audience. Together with market & competitor research, the conceptual part was designed to maximize the brand identity, tone of voice, and awareness. I created a visual language consisting of a new logo, symbol, typography elements, and imagery from scratch. The work assets included a new website, an investor presentation, decks, campaigns, and a new presence on all social media & live platforms. The process required managing various design suppliers, art direction for shooting days and company reels, and creating assets and goodies for the employee’s company. In addition, I created a demo printing app to connect the target audience with the idea of the product (take a look at it in the last image).
Attached are selected slides from the launch presentation detailing the conceptual process alongside examples.
